COVID-19 Scams are on the Rise

COVID-19 has impacted everyone in some way and scammers are trying to take advantage. While scams are always something to look out for, the pandemic has provided an opportunity for individuals to use this time to find new ways to get personal information.

These scams can include everything from false advertising for personal protective equipment (PPE) and supposed cures to trying to get access to bank account information for securing others unemployment benefits.
